We have a New Home

Preferred Powersports now has a building of its own.

After months of delays and nearly a year of patiently waiting, we officially closed on a property right here in Norway, Michigan. It’s not finished yet. There is work ahead. But the wait is over, and the next chapter is finally beginning.

We had been keeping an eye out for the right place, and when this building came up, we knew it was the one. It was in Norway, which mattered most to us, and it felt like the right place we could grow into without needing to move again. The location, visible from US-2, keeps us close to the people and places that have supported us since the beginning.

The inside will come first. We have plans for new windows, tin, a small office, and some simple finishes to make the space work. Right now, there are no finishes at all, just a clean slate. The outside is not the priority at this time.

For now, Chris will keep working out of the garage like always. The setup works, and we are keeping things moving at the shop while we make the new space our own.

Most customers come from around the area: Norway, Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Crystal Falls, Florence, and Marinette. Some customers drive in from farther out. No matter where they’re coming from, we appreciate every single one of them.

What really matters is that we found a place on the highway, in the town we call home. We have found the long-term fit that we hoped for.
